Our beautiful language school is located in the centre of Rome just a 5-minute walk from the Vatican and St. Peter's Church. Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese and Castel Sant'Angelo are not far away, and across the river Tiber is Piazza Navona and the famous Pantheon. So, you can learn Italian and walk through history – Rome has so much to offer!
For over 20 years, our Italian language school has been one of the most significant language schools for Italian as a foreign language in Rome.
The school is located in the centre of the city and is only 5 minutes walk from St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican. The great location of the school is one of the reasons why our language courses in Rome are so popular. One of the most important shopping streets, the Via Cola di Rienzo, is just a few short steps away along with the marvelous Piazza del Popolo and the famous Villa Borghese, which can easily be reached on foot. Our language school is also near the Ottaviano and Lepanto underground stations.
The language school is situated in a typical Roman town house. During the summer months, an additional floor is used. Our partner school in Rome will offer you the most modern amenities: in the Internet café, you’ll find PCs for your unlimited use as well as Wi-Fi Internet access. The bright and friendly classrooms are equipped with audio-visual learning aids that are regularly put to use during class. If you would like to further your knowledge of Italian outside of class, you can also rent numerous educational materials (books, newspapers, etc.) from the library.
During breaks or after class, many cafés and restaurants in the surrounding area are open for a cappuccino or a pizza. When you get in contact with Italians, you’ll end up learning the language all by yourself!

Most language courses in Rome start every week, usually on Mondays. To be placed in the appropriate language course group, you need to take a written and oral placement test on the first day of school. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate from the language school. The course material is included in the price. Choosing the right form of accommodation for your stay in Rome is important and we realise that participants on our courses have different requirements. Some would like to immerse themselves in the Italian culture and way of life and others would prefer more independence.

Host family accommodation is always very popular with our students as you can use your Italian every day and experience daily life in an Italian family. If you prefer more independence and also want to make contact with students or Italians, we recommend accommodation in a shared apartment. You can choose to stay in stay in a single room or a double room and share the kitchen and bathroom with the other residents.
If you would you like to stay in a hotel or guesthouse, our school works with hotels of different categories in the city centre, and we will be happy to help you find a suitable room.
Accommodation in a shared apartment is the right option for you if you would like to be as independent as possible and also to have contact with other students and Italians.You have the choice between a single or a double room and share the kitchen and bathroom with the other residents.
This form of accommodation form is ideal for participants who want a combination of independence and contact with other students and Italians. All the apartments are in a central location and you can get to the school easily either on foot or by public transport. The apartments are basic but fully equipped.Normally the accommodation is mixed with both male and female residents, but female only residences are available on request. Bed linen is provided in the apartment, but we recommend you bring your own towels. Arrival is on Sunday, and check-out is on Saturdays.
The most popular accommodation option for our customers is the classic accommodation in a host family.
Regardless of age, occupation or purpose of your trip, staying with a host family provides you the opportunity to experience everyday life in an Italian family and get to know the Italian culture in more depth. You will be able to use your Italian through the day-to-day contact with Italians - so the language course takes place outside the school too!
The school has strict criteria and selects the host families carefully. Almost all the families have been working together with the school for a long time and are in close contact with the staff, which allows us to resolve any small problems quickly.
The host families live near the school and are close to public transport. You can choose between a single room or a double room, but double rooms are only available to two people travelling together. You can book bed and breakfast or half board (breakfast and dinner), but half board is only available if you are staying for either one or two weeks. The typical Italian breakfast is cappuccino, milk, biscuits etc.
Bed linen is provided by the host family, but we recommend that you bring your own towels. Arrival is on Sunday and departure is on Saturday

Staying with a host family includes breakfast. Half board is available at an additional cost (only for stays of 2 weeks). Apartments are self-catering. Arrival is normally on Sunday, and departure on Saturday.

The Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica and the ancient Roman Forum are a must on any visit to Rome, but you can also get to know the `real` Rome away from the normal tourist track. The school organises a variety of trips and activities such as walks to undiscovered areas of the city with the many shops and restaurants there. Also, in the evenings you can go out with the school staff and experience the attractions of nights in Rome!
Italian cinema is well known and every week there is an Italian film with an introduction from the teacher followed by discussions after watching the film. You can choose the films for yourselves.
