Our School Location
Our language school for young students between 13 and 17 years is centrally located in the modern Shoreditch district in the heart of London. The rambling campus is located in the middle of an extraordinary fashion district, so students will experience a mixture of creative, cosmopolitan and lively impressions. Thanks to public transport, the students and tutors can reach of all the main attractions easily, which allows them to start excursions quickly after the English lessons.

Junior English courses to London offer teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17 a well-balanced mix of language instruction and leisure activities. Students will attend weekly English classes with 20 instruction periods of 45 minutes each. Language instruction may take place either in the morning or the afternoon.
On the first day of the English courses in London, all students will take an initial entry exam that will test them in the following areas: listening, reading, writing and conversational English skills. After test results are concluded, students will be placed into groups according to their respective language proficiency levels. This is to make sure that all junior students get the most out of their English courses and that no one is either over or underwhelmed. During language courses, there will be 15 students learning together in each class. This is a comfortable group size for teachers as they can focus on the kids individually. Besides, each child can have plenty of opportunity to speak, which will foster a great learning experience through conversation and discussion. In London special emphasis is placed on assigning international students from different countries to the same groups so as to encourage students to speak to one another in English and give them the opportunity to make friends from various countries around the world.
The focus of language instruction shall be placed on four areas: listening, speaking, reading and writing, in which special emphasis shall be placed on good communication ability, fluency and positive self-esteem development in an English-speaking environment. Teachers will provide feedback as students progress as well as offer their full support during the learning process. All instruction material is provided, although students should bring their own writing pads and pens. Upon graduation from the course, students will receive a participation certificate.
During a junior language course in London, young travellers will not only have fun during leisure activities, but will be motivated by the interesting courses to stay on task and learn something new during the trip that they can take back home.

Residence accommodation includes: living in a single room ensuite, fullboard (breakfast, lunch package or lunch in school, dinner), bed linen is included (please bring your own towels), bed linen are washed regularly, laundry service on site.
The airport transfer is not included in the package price, for transfers from / to London Heathrow and London Gatwick the school charges Euro 184,- per person.
Our students, who choose to stay on the modern Shoreditch campus, are looking forward to an exciting student program with a nice learning atmosphere. The teenagers benefit from the pastures between the sleeping and classrooms and can benefit from the excellent equipment of the terrain.
In addition to various sports facilities directly on the campus, the youths also have cozy common areas available. In those rooms the kids meet new friends and encounter new cultures. For the catering is taken care well, too: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are taken together in the cafeteria. Breakfast is served in a classic style with cereals, cakes, croissants, yogurt and fruit, while the kids can have hot and cold meals for lunch and dinner. During full-day excursions as well as on weekends, our young language students receive a packed lunch. The teenagers each have a fully equipped single room with a private bathroom. Here, the young people find both a desk for homework as well as enough space to store personal belongings. Of course, the tutors are 24 hours available every day for the children on the campus and have an open ear at all times.

In addition to the age-based language classes, our language school in London also organises an exciting leisure programme every day for the young students. Ultimately, there's nothing better than discovering new places with friends as well as having fun while playing sports or games. Junior students arrive on Sundays.
Of course, there are also several opportunities for shopping at the world-famous Portobello Road Market or the no-less-famous Regent's Street. In addition to that, there are also film screenings and parties on-campus. Usually, once a week on Saturdays, an all-day field trip is scheduled. Junior students are taken, for example, to the royal observatory in Greenwich, on a boat trip on the River Thames or to the famous Oxford University (visits to Oxford University are available to participants staying at least 3 weeks). The travel pass to all the various activities is included in the total cost. Admission costs are generally included in the price and only one to two entry costs are to be paid separately on-site. Sunday is usually a family day, which the kids spend with their host families. On the widespread school campus, students have access to clean and expansive sports facilities where they can play football and other sports, such as tennis. A two-week tennis course or language course can be booked. This will replace five other group activities.
