French and Law

The French and Law course is designed for participants wishing to learn the French legal jargon. It is especially designed for professionals in the legal profession and law students. The course takes place over one week and is held three times a year. As part of this specialised course a number of topics can be selected in the afternoon. Possible areas are as follows: French and international Penal Code, Business law, French and international civil law, Human rights, humanitarian law, Border law, diplomacy, General overview of the French judicial and legislative system

The programme also includes practical components such as the court of appeal, criminal justice or human rights. The intent of the course is to provide participants with the confidence and vocabulary to communicate in a legal environment as well as provide a cultural experience of the French capital.
